About The Position

The College of Adult and Professional Studies is seeking a dynamic and strategic part-time Webpage and Outreach Assistant to support webpage maintenance, communication outreach, and marketing efforts for the College. The position will help the College’s three departments and with the leadership team to advance visibility, outreach, and enrollment goals as part of our broader strategic plan to expand access and engagement for adult learners. This position will report to Quay Davis, Director of Professional Training and Certificates, and will liaise with the three CAPS departments and the College Marketing and Outreach committee to support websites updates, social media posts, content creation, and outreach coordination. The scope and impact of this role require a dedicated individual who can work collaboratively across departments and proactively advance initiatives that align with the college’s mission and growth objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in outreach coordination, webpage management, digital content creation and design, and social media management.
  • Expertise in Dot CMS and experience in website creation and updates.
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual communication skills.
  • Sound judgement and follow-through.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with adult learner audiences and inclusive communication practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with department leads to update and maintain CAPS websites with timely, relevant content.
  • Develop and schedule social media posts to promote PCT programs, CAPS events, and student success stories.
  • Working with CAPS units on engaging digital and print materials (e.g., flyers, newsletters, blog posts) that reflect the College’s voice and values.
  • in coordination with the CAPS Marketing and Outreach committee, coordinate outreach campaigns, including social media marketing.
  • Conduct outreach to current and former adult learners to gather testimonials and success stories for use in marketing and communications.
  • Track engagement metrics and provide regular reports to inform strategy and improve outreach effectiveness.
  • Liaise with University Communications and IT teams to ensure brand consistency and technical support.
