Weblogic Administrator (SOA & Oracle)
About The Position
Job Title: WebLogic Administrator (Oracle & SOA) Location: Houston, TX Key Responsibilities Install, configure, administer, and support Oracle WebLogic Server (Standalone & Clustered environments). Manage and support Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, OSB, BAM, MDS, Human Workflow). Perform domain creation, server startup/shutdown, deployments, and patching. Monitor system health, JVM performance, thread pools, memory, and garbage collection. Troubleshoot production issues related to WebLogic, SOA composites, and middleware integrations. Implement High Availability (HA), Load Balancing, and Failover configurations. Perform middleware upgrades and migrations. Work closely with application, database, and infrastructure teams. Manage SSL certificates, security configurations, and user roles. Automate administrative tasks using WLST scripting and shell scripts. Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and incident resolutions. Required Skills & Qualifications 6+ years of hands-on experience as a WebLogic Administrator. Strong expertise in Oracle WebLogic Server (11g/12c). Solid experience with Oracle SOA Suite. Good understanding of Oracle Database and JDBC data sources. Experience with Unix/Linux environments. Proficiency in WLST, Shell scripting. Knowledge of JVM tuning and performance optimization. Experience supporting production environments. Familiarity with middleware security concepts (SSL, authentication, authorization).
