APTNEXUS is seeking a skilled Web & SharePoint Solutions Developer to support an IT Support Services contract for a Federal Government Civilian Agency located in Rosslyn, Virginia. This role is fully onsite, five days per week, and requires an active SECRET security clearance. This hybrid technical role manages the end-to-end lifecycle of the agency’s internal collaboration environment (SharePoint Online / Microsoft Power Platform) and its public-facing communications portal (WordPress on cloud.gov). The ideal candidate is a working architect who can configure complex workflows with strict Azure/M365 permissions within the agency’s internal SharePoint Online environment and deploy code to a FedRAMP-authorized Cloud.gov WordPress environment. The candidate will also design and build custom business process automation solutions using Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate. Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: SharePoint & Power Platform (Internal Operations) Lead the architecture of the SharePoint within a M365 environment, ensuring Section 508 accessibility compliance and data integrity across all internal sites and applications. Develop complex, low-code/pro-code solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Power Automate to digitize and automate agency business workflows. Manage M365 and Azure Active Directory permissions for SharePoint sites, implementing Least Privilege access models in alignment with federal security standards. Maintain and customize SharePoint Online sites using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) where out-of-the-box functionality is insufficient to meet agency requirements. Apply creative UI/UX design skills to enhance the organization, layout, and usability of the agency’s SharePoint intranet environment. Ensure SharePoint Online sites meet Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 USC 794(d)) accessibility requirements, conducting regular compliance assessments and implementing remediations. Respond to user requests and provide specialized SharePoint Online technical support; increase user knowledge of SharePoint tools and Power Platform capabilities. Collect and analyze user requirements, design and deliver custom workflow solutions and business applications using Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and related Power Platform tools. Maintain technical documentation including architectural overviews, system administration guides, and business process documentation for SharePoint. Coordinate with stakeholders on recommended solutions, design and test workflow solutions, and facilitate iterative improvements based on user and stakeholder feedback. WordPress & Cloud.gov (External Public Website) Oversee the development, security, and ongoing maintenance of the agency’s public-facing website, hosted on WordPress within the cloud.gov FedRAMP-authorized infrastructure-as-a-service platform. Manage deployment pipelines to Cloud.gov, ensuring high availability, zero-downtime deployments, and continuous adherence to federal security standards. Implement custom WordPress themes and plugins while ensuring the site meets U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) standards for design, accessibility, and performance. Perform security code analysis of the public-facing WordPress website on a quarterly basis; identify, document, and remediate vulnerabilities in coordination with the agency security team. Coordinate with the security team to ensure all public-facing web assets pass regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing requirements. Interact with other contractor vendors as needed to provide coordinated delivery of website support services. Ensure the external website maintains the availability and performance standards required under the contract, including response to any system inoperability outside of scheduled operating hours.
