Web Producer, Editorial, Americas (Part Time, Temporary)

Why This Role Matters The Temp/Part Time Web Producer, Editorial will be a key member of Christie’s content team based in New York. Supporting the Managing Editor and Digital Director, Americas, this individual will produce and publish high quality Editorial content to Christie’s website to increase consumer engagement and conversion. This position will manage and maintain the digital presence of Christie’s online Editorial content.
Requirements
- Will have 2-3 years of experience in web production
- Experience working in Content Management Systems, familiarity with SiteCore and Shorthand a plus
- Some design experience with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
- Knowledge of SEO and website optimization
- Has excellent organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly creative and displays a passion and sensitivity for fine art and luxury goods
- Available to work 3 days per week in person in the New York office
Responsibilities
- Produce and publish original content to Christie’s website for the Americas Editorial team
- Optimize and resize images for website usage
- Implement design sensibilities to create dynamic hero images for Christie’s Editorial to captivate core audience
- Manually edit content to ensure Editorial stories are accurate and up to date
- Ensure that all content has been optimized for SEO and that metadata is relevant
- Establish and maintain an archive of all imagery used in editorial content.
- Help establish and implement best practices for production
