About The Position

Drata is looking for a seasoned Web Engineering Lead to architect and scale drata.com, transforming it into a high-performance growth engine. As the lead hands-on engineer on our web team, you’ll drive strategy, lead cross-functional technical efforts, and build experiences that align with our full-funnel marketing strategy. You’ll be hands-on in code, but also shape architecture, vendor integrations, analytics instrumentation, and site governance.

Requirements

  • 6-10+ years of engineering experience with deep exposure to modern web stacks
  • Expertise in React, TypeScript, Next JS and building performant, modular front-ends
  • Proficiency with headless CMSs like Contentful
  • Familiarity with Vercel, CI/CD, and performance monitoring
  • Knowledge of Google Tag Manager
  • Strong grasp of SEO, analytics, and site experimentation best practices
  • A systems mindset with a bias toward reusability, scale, and long-term quality

Responsibilities

  • Own front-end and back-end strategy and execution for drata.com
  • Lead technical execution of redesigns, A/B tests, personalization, and SEO optimizations
  • Design and implement scalable web components and CMS architecture (Contentful)
  • Manage Vercel-based deployments
  • Instrument web analytics (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager), conversion tracking, and event modeling
  • Partner cross-functionally with growth, corporate, and product marketing teams
  • Identify and integrate new tools for experimentation, performance, and testing
