About The Position

Are you passionate about applying your deep understanding of the cloud in creative ways? Are you the type who “make stuff happen”? We at Claris International Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple Inc., the top standalone desktop database company, are searching for a software engineer. We have an established product line and large customer base, and we are advancing existing technologies and developing new and exciting products. In this position you will develop web technologies and the full-stack to create AI-driven, dynamic web interfaces.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Next.js.
• Solid experience with design tokens and component libraries.
• Strong grasp of CSS Grid, Flexbox, and advanced layout mechanics for responsive, adaptive UIs.
• Understanding of state management patterns (e.g., Zustand, Redux, or context-based systems).
• Deep expertise in Tailwind CSS, ShadCN UI, and custom styling systems.

• Drive towards sound implementation and timely delivery.
• Manage development projects that span multiple functional teams with demanding deadlines.
• Overcome technical challenges daily.
• Craft efficient designs and write functional specifications and design documents.
• Write thorough unit and integration tests.
• Partner closely with QA to ensure top quality of the product.
