About The Position

We're looking for a Web Development Intern to support our Digital Experience Team at Utz Brands. This internship offers hands-on experience in eCommerce development, AI supported automation, and marketing website creation. You'll work on projects that enhance the company's digital presence, improve operational efficiencies, and elevate the customer experience.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, UI/UX Design, or a related field.
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Webflow, or similar CMS).
• Familiarity with JSON structure and data handling for API interactions.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
• Experience or interest in AI automation tools and scripting (Python preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in updating and improving our eCommerce platform to enhance customer engagement and performance.
• Work on front-end development tasks and contribute to feature enhancements.
• Support UI/UX refinements to improve usability and responsiveness.
• Develop and implement automation solutions to increase team efficiency.
• Assist in organizing and optimizing digital assets to enhance accessibility.
• Explore ways to leverage AI tools for improving internal processes.
• Assist in the design and development of websites to support brand campaigns.
• Assist in the development of customer support integration with owned digital.
• Work within established frameworks to ensure scalability, performance, and SEO best practices.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to execute visually compelling and conversion-optimized experiences.
