About The Position

Our team has an immediate need for an experienced Web Developer to join our team at a customer-site in McLean, VA. You will be responsible for flushing out and documenting application requirements from customer requests, while coordinating with the product manager to ensure tasking is within the scope of the project. You will attend daily Scrum meetings to go over current tasking and identify any blockers on current/future tasks. Additionally, you will demonstrate any software deliverables to the product manager/team at the end of the sprint cycle, implement new application features based on customer requirements, and work with UI/UX experts and power users to build an intuitive and well-researched application. Testing application features as they are developed to ensure requirements are being met is also part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with other front-end and back-end developers on the team to ensure the technical requirements are met in the overall application architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area of study.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript (Hono.js) and Python (fastapi).
• Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript (Vue.js) and Tailwindcss.
• Experience with DevOps (CDKTF/terraform).
• Active/current TS/SCI with required polygraph.
• Willingness to work onsite full time.
• US citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience building chat interfaces and working with LLMs via API.
• Experience working with Docker Containers for development (Podman).
• Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS).
• Familiarity with Git for source control.
• Familiarity with relational database design and SQL query workflows.
