About The Position

Z SUPPLY is an established and fast-growing California Women’s lifestyle brand that is leading the space for casual, comfortable style. Located in the heart of Orange County, we are passionate about staying true to our roots and living a life of good vibes in and out of the office. We are seeking a talented and versatile Web Developer with deep Shopify expertise to help us elevate our digital ecosystem. In this role, you will work at the intersection of ecommerce, enterprise systems, and emerging technologies, building scalable solutions that drive customer experience and business intelligence. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and outside vendors to deliver high impact digital solutions that scale with our growth.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional Shopify development experience.
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Liquid.
• Experience with the latest Shopify features (i.e. Metaobjects, Checkout Extensibility).
• Strong front-end design and user experience sensibility.
• Ability to effectively leverage AI coding tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, etc.).
• Proven ability to rapidly learn and implement new technologies.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience building custom Shopify apps and API integrations.
• Experience working with Ruby on Rails (strong plus).
• Experience architecting scalable ecommerce solutions and business intelligence systems.
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, Docker, etc.).
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our Senior Engineer and VP of Technology in a collaborative environment.
• Ongoing development of ecommerce solutions, APIs, and system integrations within the Shopify ecosystem.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain new software features and enterprise tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable systems.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with technical expertise and accountability.
• Partner with outside vendors to design and implement third-party integrations across business systems.
• Contribute to the strategic technical direction of Z SUPPLY’s digital platforms.
