OVERVIEW The Web Developer designs, develops, tests, and maintains web-based applications that support online training delivery, content management, and user engagement. This role collaborates closely with business analysts, designers, quality assurance staff, and project teams to translate requirements into reliable, accessible, and high-performing web solutions. The ideal candidate is technically strong, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced development environment. DUTIES Design, develop, test, and implement web-based software components and application features Translate user stories, functional requirements, and technical specifications into working applications Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components using established programming languages, tools, and frameworks Write clean, maintainable, and well-organized code that adheres to development standards and best practices Ensure all code is unit tested and meets functional, technical, and accessibility requirements Support delivery and web-based training platforms, content repositories, assessments, and related functionality Optimize applications for performance, quality, scalability, and responsiveness Identify, analyze, and remediate defects, performance issues, and technical bottlenecks Collaborate with quality assurance staff to support testing, validation, and defect resolution Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining overall code quality and consistency Support deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of existing applications Work collaboratively within a cross-functional development team to meet project timelines and delivery goals Follow established development processes, documentation standards, and version control practices Perform other duties as assigned in support of project and business needs
