About The Position

We are seeking a Web Developer to design and develop modern, responsive, and accessible web applications that support a large-scale online education ecosystem. This role will contribute to building intuitive user experiences and reliable front-end functionality across student- and staff-facing systems. As a Web Developer, you will develop and maintain web applications and user interfaces that are secure, scalable, and optimized for usability. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code and ensure web experiences meet accessibility and responsive design standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or related field
3+ years of experience designing and developing websites or web applications
Strong understanding of modern web development principles and UI best practices
Experience delivering responsive web applications across multiple devices and browsers
HTML
CSS
JavaScript
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be eligible for and capable of obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance
Must be currently residing in the United States
Must be willing to travel occasionally to Washington, DC for in-person meetings

Responsibilities

Design and develop modern websites and web applications using current front-end technologies
Build responsive, mobile-friendly user interfaces with strong attention to usability and performance
Ensure web applications meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices
Collaborate with product, UX, and technical teams to implement features and enhancements
Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and improve overall application stability
Maintain clean, reusable, well-documented code following development standards
Support integration with APIs and enterprise backend systems as needed
Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of development practices
