As a Web Developer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful. You will play a crucial role in the Office of Knowledge Management (OKM) by delivering high-quality, reliable, and user-friendly applications to U.S. Army Europe and Africa (USAREUR-AF). You will work closely with customers and end users to understand business needs and build the best solution to meet them. Working in an Agile environment, you will adhere to established best practices to deliver high-quality, reliable, and user-friendly applications. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Software Developer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to supplying mission command support to U.S. Army Europe. Design, develop, code, test, and debug new business automation applications, and implement enhancements to existing applications. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for software and web applications, supporting ongoing maintenance and upgrades. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with complex software applications. Leverage strong understanding of software development principles, methods, and techniques, along with proficiency in relevant technologies. Collaborate with business stakeholders to apply expert knowledge to analyze user/business needs, plan and design user-centric applications.
