About The Position

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Web Developer, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Website Developer joining our team to design and develop websites supporting a DoD program in Tampa, Florida. Websites may be presented in left to right or right to left script. Develops and implements interfaces, designs and UX patterns. Creates workflows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product features. Translates mockups to WordPress or html/js/css templates and specifications. Conducts regular research and applies insights to make informed recommendations for product enhancement. Collaborates with a team of content curators to achieve optimal user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 0-3 years' experience required.
  • Familiarity with digital publishing platforms and content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
  • Experience working with multilingual websites and/or platforms.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proficiency in design tools.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required.
