About The Position

Connected Logistics builds secure, mission-critical IT and logistics solutions for the U.S. Army and other federal stakeholders. Connected Logistics is seeking a Web Developer/Engineer – Basic for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Program Office, located in Battle Creek, MI. Key Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to: Responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of secure, high-performance web applications that support various CAGE operations and missions. A key distinction from general web development is the mandatory adherence to strict government security and compliance standards. General duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • Associates Degreen in Computer Science or related field
  • Two (2) years of experience in scripting, software development, web page design and development, hands-on software development/web-page development.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online (SPO), DreamWeaver or related applications
  • Strong customer relation skills
  • Experience utilizing C#.Net, HTML, XML, PERL, and or Apache
  • Good customer relation skills
  • Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission.
  • 8570/8140: Category IAT Level II such as SEC+ or equivalent
  • CE: Role: Server Admin Applications: Certification in one or more relevant areas for Web Developer with admin accounts/privileged access functions. Function: Web Developer with admin accounts/privileged access. Certifications include HPE Webinspect, MCSD App Builder, MCSA Web Applications or MS Web Developer I.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software.
  • Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
  • Research, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
  • Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
  • Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
  • Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
  • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
  • Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
  • Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Participates in development of software user manuals.
