Job Overview To provide skills necessary to perform Multimedia and Information System Management Support Services at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI) at Patrick Air Force Base.

Requirements

  • Must have an Associates Degree or higher.
  • Five (5) years' experience in web design and management, or equivalent programming experience.
  • Must have strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Must maintain effective working relationship with all levels of personnel.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Some Windows IIS administration experience desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Internet, Staff & Faculty Intranet, & Student Intranet sites.
  • Organize and maintain Internet and Intranet sites. Ensure the sites adhere to graphic standards including uniform fonts, formatting, icons, images, layout techniques.
  • Ensure sites adhere to Section 508 laws.
  • Maintain template and image archives.
  • Ensure all internal and external links are current and operational.
  • Create enhancements and modifications to sites.
  • Coordinate with personnel responsible for updating site content to provide training and technical advice.
  • Extensive knowledge of HTML & DHTML, Active Server Page, Microsoft IIS, and Microsoft FrontPage.
  • Must possess strong familiarity with emerging Web technologies, Web design, integration, prototyping, database driven content & Web-based user interfaces.
  • Must work well with others and possess superior skills in all facets of web site management.
  • Must have ability to evaluate client requirements and develop applications to satisfy these requirements.
  • Must be able to train clients to use developed applications.
