About The Position

The Web Cutter position is responsible for operating and maintaining the manual and automated web cutting machines that cut materials such as nylon, polyester and cotton webbing for harnesses and pouches, etc. This position will use the machine to cut specified dimensions by performing the essential duties below. Maintain and refer to cutting log records of various products for cutting to material specifications based on production ticket. Mains the automated cutting machines. Perform manual cutting of the web, if needed. Must be alert for in-process product imperfections and bring to the supervisor or lead’s attention. Move work within department after completion. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma and no work related experience.
Must possess knowledge using hand tools.
Demonstrate basic mathematical, reading, writing, and comprehension as well as communication skills.
Demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
Demonstrate the capacity to shift priorities.
Ability to work closely and effectively with all employees and management staff.

Nice To Haves

Two years (2) years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
