About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented Web Content Producer to support the day-to-day production and maintenance of content across WineEnthusiast.com and our sister properties. In this role, you will take requests for page updates, new content, and promotional layouts—often provided as copy, design comps, or tickets—and build or update pages accurately within our CMS. This role focuses on timely execution and quality, working within existing templates, blocks, and workflows to ensure content is published correctly and on time. You’ll work primarily in customized WordPress and Magento (Adobe Commerce) environments and collaborate closely with editorial, SEO, and commerce teams to support ongoing site updates and major publishing moments. This role reports to the Director of Digital Product.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience working in WordPress, with hands-on use of the block editor (Gutenberg). We do not use drag-and-drop builders like Elementor, Divi, or Thrive.
  • Experience building or updating pages from provided copy, layouts, or design references.
  • Familiarity with task management tools such as Monday.com, Jira, Asana, or similar.
  • Comfortable working in Google Workspace (Docs and Sheets).
  • Frontend Fundamentals: Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, sufficient to make layout adjustments and troubleshoot basic issues. JS knowledge is a bonus.
  • Asset Optimization: Experience resizing and optimizing images for the web using Photoshop or web-based tools.
  • Troubleshooting: A natural problem-solver who can diagnose CMS issues and either fix or escalate to developers when outside your scope..
  • Availability: Willingness to support occasional early-morning or off-hours updates during major launches or sales periods.

  • Bonus: Familiarity with Magento CMS, basic SEO concepts, or interest in wine, spirits, or e-commerce

Responsibilities

  • Build and update web pages using existing WordPress blocks, patterns, and templates (Gutenberg-based; no third-party page builders).
  • Maintain content and images on Product Detail Pages and other commerce-related templates within Adobe Commerce.
  • Execute day-to-day website updates based on tickets, requests, or provided design comps and copy.
  • Support production for major editorial and promotional initiatives, such as Best of Year lists, Wine Star Awards, and seasonal sales.
  • Ensure published content is accurate, visually consistent, and adheres to brand and formatting standards.
  • Implement on-page SEO updates as directed by the SEO lead to ensure our editorial content remains competitive for brand and topical authority. The focus will be on healthy internal linking practices and proper use of categories and tags.
