About The Position

Tex Tech Industries is hiring, we are looking for candidates who want to be a part of a growing and evolving leading global manufacturing facility is currently looking for 2 Weavers on our 1st shift at our Winthrop Location.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for running a multi-loom assignment to produce first-quality material. Setup, operate, or tend machines that knit, loop, weave or draw in textiles.

Requirements

• The positions require frequent standing and walking for up to 10 hours a day, frequent lifting, twisting, kneeling and bending.
• Frequent lifting of 10 to 75 lbs (with some assistance).
• Must have fine motor skills and manual dexterity along with good vision and be able to distinguish color variations.

Responsibilities

• Running a multi-loom assignment.
• Start machines, monitor operations and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain the full work assignment in processing first-quality material.
• Responsibility to repair the warp, filling breaks and other loom stops as needed.
• Required to doff the roll and cut when full.
• Record all necessary information on tickets, and production as required.
• Inspect cloth while weaving to ensure quality material is being produced.
• Replace empty cones with full ones when needed.
• Adhere to all safety rules and safe work practices at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
