About The Position

As a Weaver, you'll be responsible for operating circular weaving looms, and maintaining loom creels. You will play a key role in keeping production running smoothly, communicating with your team, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

  • High school diploma or GED, OR 3–6 months of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Operating and maintaining circular weaving looms
  • Changing weft bobbins on the looms, and loading and maintaining the creels that hold the wrap yarn for the loom
  • Inspecting jackets and checking the loom creels
  • Reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the A-Weaver
  • Attaining production goals by accurately and timely completing work orders with minimum supervision
  • Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Complying with all OSHA and Puck rules and regulations.
  • Following the Puck Quality Assurance Program by accurately performing the required tasks as directed by team leader
  • Completing transactions in the ERP system
  • Accurately recording time worked and allocated time to the appropriate job(s)
  • Operating a forklift as needed
