About The Position

As a Weatherization Installation Crew Person , you'll play an important role in improving energy efficiency in qualified low-income residential homes. You'll install energy-saving upgrades in accordance with Weatherization and industry standards - helping homeowners reduce their energy costs and improve their quality of life.

Requirements

Experience in construction or residential repair work.
Strong people skills and professionalism when working with homeowners and team members.
Good judgment and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to manage projects efficiently and work independently or as part of a team.
Proactive and results-oriented approach to completing assignments.
Knowledge of building materials and their proper use.
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
Minimum 2 years of residential construction experience (insulation, framing, remodeling, or related work).

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Weatherization Performance Standards (preferred).

Responsibilities

Install energy-efficient improvements such as doors, windows, ducts, surface sealants, vapor barriers, insulation, framing, sheet rock, and exhaust fans.
Perform minor residential repairs on single-family and manufactured homes.
Ensure all work meets Weatherization and safety standards.
Regularly engage with homeowners in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
