About The Position

The Weather Reporter builds and presents on-air weather forecasts segments for assigned shows and during severe weather coverage designed for a local audience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience in a radio or television broadcast environment; OR associate's degree or enrolled in a bachelor's degree program and some experience in a radio or television broadcast environment.
• Prior to hiring, the final candidate(s) must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation and information obtained from social media and other internet sources.
• A prior conviction reported as a result of the background investigation DOES NOT automatically disqualify a candidate from consideration for this position.
