About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Facility Operations Analyst for a position at Camp Smith, HI. This role involves performing a wide range of weapon maintenance, repair, sustainment, and other logistic range support tasks, providing high-level technical support and customer service. The selected candidate will maintain standard and non-standard weapons and ammunition in accordance with prescribed government directives. The position supports the Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start. Requirements

Possess skills equal to or greater than a 91F, or USMC 2111.
Possess an extensive knowledge and thorough understanding of all steps in the functioning of supported weapons.
Experience with Ammunition documents, and Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) procedures.
At least 3 yrs. experience as a Tactical Rifle/Pistol instructor.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
Ability to obtain a company-sponsored security clearance

Nice To Haves

Be familiar with, and comply with all local, USSOCOM, and DoD accountability / physical security requirements for weapons and ammunition.
Work independently.
Have completed the USASOC SOF-p Weapons Repair Course (previously called the Joint Armorer Course) (preferred).

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of weapon maintenance, repair, sustainment, other logistic range support tasks, by providing high-level technical support, and customer service.
Maintain standard and non-standard weapons and ammunition in accordance with (IAW) prescribed government directives.
Request training ammunition for scheduled ranges and ensure residue is turned in in a timely manner to the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP).
Conduct day and night firing range training and testing in the use and function of all repaired firearms used by SOCPAC personnel.
Provide range support; the range support is provided not only for SOCPAC, but for several Federal Agencies on a regular basis and in conjunction with JCS Exercises.
Provide practical “hands-on” instruction in the use and safety factors with hand and shoulder weapons.
Prepare and fabricate standard and non-standard targets as directed or independently to meet the training/timeline requirements.
Complete routine range maintenance to include Rubber Chevron Bullet Trap removal and replacement, Lead and Brass removal, Ballistic Protection maintenance and scenario setup.
Travel in support of the task order as required.
