About The Position

The position involves planning, implementing, testing, documenting, troubleshooting, and maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of the Mk 160 and Close-In Weapon System (CIWS). The role includes oversight of testing at Bath Iron Works and requires effective communication and collaboration across departments. A DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance is mandatory prior to starting, and US Citizenship is required.

Requirements

• Experienced MK 160 field engineer proficient in operations and troubleshooting.
• Experienced CIWS field engineer proficient in operations and troubleshooting.
• Effective written and oral communication skills for training and providing feedback to customers.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Physical ability to navigate steep stairs and ladders and work in confined spaces.
• Must have a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting.
• US Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experienced in AEGIS infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of LINUX.
• Cooper/Fiber certified.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, test, document, troubleshoot, and maintain solutions for Mk 160 and CIWS integration and testing.
• Provide oversight of Bath Iron Works testing of MK 160 and CIWS and report status to group lead.
• Review existing test procedures and document discrepancies for future revision.
• Recommend changes to test procedures based on reviews.
• Perform reviews of delivered MK 160 and CIWS test procedures for technical accuracy.
