About The Position

The Wealth Sales & Support Leader serves as a key strategic and operational partner to the Division Director, driving sales performance, strengthening sales processes, and ensuring seamless alignment across Wealth, Wholesale, and partner business lines. This role leads the execution of divisional sales strategies, oversees sales governance routines, and enhances advisor effectiveness through optimized tools, training, and data integrity initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training.
  • Eight years of experience in a wealth management support role or equivalent job experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for internal and external client interactions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and working product knowledge of wealth management and general bank services.
  • Strong interpersonal, diplomacy, and sales support skills.
  • Math aptitude with the ability to grasp general accounting and financial concepts relevant to wealth management.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems related to wealth management systems and documentation.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel, occasionally overnight

Nice To Haves

  • Ten years of experience in the wealth management area or a similar environment handling complex client relationships and transactions.
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel and analytics for wealth reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and its application in wealth management.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales & Revenue Performance
  • Partner with DD to drive divisional sales performance
  • Review and report sales activities with sales leaders (production, pipeline, partnerships, calling, etc.)
  • Drive communication, partnership and performance with product and support partner areas (i.e. CCB, Premier, MM, CIB, CRE, Dealer, Senior Care, etc.)
  • Manage Client Planning Process
  • Drive advisor tool adoption, access to training, systems and product knowledge – need more insight into advisor time management
  • Oversee Client Assignment/Regional migration input
  • Supports data integrity efforts
  • Advisor Desktop (or other CRM system) Champion – usage and data accuracy
  • Review reporting & dashboard data needs to driving sales progress
  • Identify and cross-share sales best practices and ideas
  • Work with recruiting team to track and look for trends in wealth advisor candidates across each region. Prepare monthly overview for division directors.
  • Sales Strategy Execution
  • Partner closely and sales leaders to support wholesale and Wealth strategy, disseminate communication on change management or special projects for regional/vertical execution
  • Monitor sales meeting cadences and agenda to ensure adherence
  • Truist Culture Ambassador
  • VOC results & alert responses
  • Support Wealth effectiveness in partnership with Wealth leaders
  • Proactively identify process efficiencies for the wealth team, escalate improvements across regions and train on them.
  • Work closely with all wealth support. This includes in-market support (RSL, WSS, FSS, ISS) and virtual support (Wealth Solution Center). Identify issues, propose solutions and drive efficiencies.
  • Inspect and help drive consistency in RMD/RSL routines/behaviors as well as WA/WSS routines and behaviors.
  • Support analysts within the division and LDP assistance as needed
  • Hub of sales communication and dissemination to division
  • Change Management or Special Projects Liaison
  • Other duties as assigned by Division Director
