About The Position

CAPTRUST is seeking a Wealth Planning Associate who will work directly with our wealth advisory teams to provide client and prospective client wealth management solutions. This includes support of our centralized financial planning model, onboarding new offices onto our wealth planning platform, executive financial planning, financial planning workflows, and continually developing strategies and solutions to better serve our clients. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Technology savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills, includes being polished, courteous, professional, and patient
• Good organizational skills such as multi-tasking, adapting priorities, and meeting deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of or exposure to eMoney or similar financial planning software
• Desire to pursue CFP designation
• Experience at a wealth management or financial planning advisory firm

Responsibilities

• Support the transition of client’s financial planning data into our system, eMoney, specifically the data of clients from new CAPTRUST offices
• Data entry in eMoney will be critical
• Support business development activities
• Learn and become fluent in eMoney
• Learn and develop financial planning knowledge and skills
• Assist with training our wealth team on eMoney and our financial planning approach
• Will work closely with financial advisors, client service, and peers on the Wealth Planning team
• Contribute to new research, project initiatives and ad hoc projects within required deadlines
• Support of CAPTRUST’s centralized financial planning process and Executive Advice Service
• May work, when necessary, beyond normal working hours
