As a Barron’s Top 100 RIA firm and voted Best Places to Work by Fortune, Pacific Coast Business Times, Inc. (Best Workplaces), and Investment News, Mission Wealth is hiring a growth-minded Wealth Planner to join our award-winning team!  If you are ready to elevate your career in a leading wealth management company with a commitment to giving back to the community and expanding nationally, let’s go!   Our ideal candidate is a wealth management professional with hustle and a couple of years of experience working in a wealth management support role.  You define ambition, have a sense of adventure, and a passion for purpose, both in life and in your approach to providing exceptional support to Senior Advisors. If you can articulate your proven success in wealth management, we want to hear from you, ASAP! Mission Wealth has offered 360-degree wealth management services to affluent families since 2000.  Our dynamic planning process ensures that every piece of the puzzle is put into place as our clients’ lives unfold and their needs evolve.  This gives them the complete picture and confidence in their financial future. The Wealth Planner will work closely with two wealth advisors to serve tech clients, enjoy a variety of on-the-job learning opportunities, and be involved in all areas of financial planning. This is an ideal position for an early-career professional who has 2 to 5 years of financial services experience (accounting, wealth management, etc.) and who is eager to learn and grow. The Wealth Planner supports Wealth Advisors with all aspects of wealth management, including resolving client requests, data gathering and analysis, drafting financial plans, portfolio and asset allocation reviews, meeting preparation, client communication, client account maintenance, and implementation of recommendations. Additionally, the Wealth Planner will support business development activities such as preparation for prospective client meetings.  The responsibility of this position is managing specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence. The position requires above-average attention to detail, concern for the exact correctness of work, and a strong commitment to completing tasks on time. The person in this position will take work seriously, have a strong sense of duty, and be disciplined. A somewhat faster-than-average pace is the norm. Detailed, specialized work is the major focus of your role.  You’ll receive clearly-defined projects and responsibilities, ongoing and thorough training opportunities to develop expertise, and appreciation of your competence, conscientiousness, and loyalty. The position will provide security in a stable work environment, allowing you to plan for, focus on, and complete tasks on hand. When changes in the nature of the work occur, you’ll receive direction, training, and support. The position is generally task-oriented and structured, requiring someone with a careful and cautious approach to work.  All client relationships are handled on a team basis, and the Wealth Planner is a key member of the team. A strong, friendly follow-up is necessary on delegated tasks to ensure proper results. The Wealth Planner role offers a defined career path, with the opportunity to advance to Wealth Advisor after a minimum of three years in the position.
