About The Position

The Wealth Management Specialist at Park Avenue Securities plays a crucial role in supporting Field Representatives (FRs) by providing tailored wealth management solutions. This position involves leveraging a deep understanding of accumulation and income distribution products to assist FRs in addressing specific client needs. The Specialist will engage in various responsibilities, including product support, large case analysis, training, and collaboration with Wealth Management Consultants to drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Series 7 required; Series 63/65 or 66 required.
  • Strong advisor management skills and consultative skills.
  • Ability to support large case design and proposal development.
  • Broad-based industry and product knowledge, including GIAC Fixed Annuities.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to drive results and sales growth.

Nice To Haves

  • Sales Desk and/or Internal wholesaling or financial retail sales experience in Wealth Management.
  • Customer service cross-selling experience.
  • Experience in field training and presenting to groups via Zoom/Teams.
  • Professional designations such as CFP or AIF.
  • Life/Health insurance licenses.

Responsibilities

  • Provide wealth management solutions to Field Representatives based on specific client situations.
  • Answer product questions and offer solutions via phone support to registered FRs.
  • Support large case design and proposal development.
  • Conduct FR book analysis and segmentation assistance to identify wealth management opportunities.
  • Deliver training to groups of FRs via video conference on products, solutions, and technologies used in wealth management.
  • Analyze investment portfolios and develop investment strategy proposals.
  • Communicate investment product objectives and basic financial planning concepts.
  • Manage and develop sales territory with Wealth Management Consultants to drive growth.
  • Implement and execute communications, sales, and growth plans within the sales territory.
  • Document field interactions in wholesaler CRM.
