Job Description Serves as a dedicated Philanthropic Advisor for selected high net worth and ultra-high net worth organization / individual / family relationships within a particular market or region. Works closely with other senior members of the relationship team to meet all of client’s philanthropic planning, wealth planning, estate planning and wealth transfer needs. Responsible for developing new and expanding current wealth management relationships, with focus on private foundations, endowments, planned giving programs, and other charitable entities. Must have an established professional network in the local and/or regional market. This role has potentially substantial travel requirements, due to providing services within a defined geographic territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of functional experience (recent consulting, accounting or legal experience with a major law or accounting firm or corporate fiduciary or nonprofit organization)
  • Professional designation that may include, but is not limited to: JD, MBA, CPA, CTFA, CFP, Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP), Certified 2164 Trainer, and/or Graduate of National Trust School Program

Nice To Haves

  • Broad knowledge of the philanthropic, fiduciary, tax and estate planning disciplines
  • Experience drafting or reviewing charitable, estate, business or other planning documents for clients with net worth exceeding $10 million
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Deep tact, diplomacy and people skills

Responsibilities
