About The Position

As a Wealth Management Associate, you will be responsible for contacting interested prospects and coordinating meetings for our advisory team. In partnership with our team of Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs), you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business prospects within your assigned territories to meet daily, monthly, and quarterly sales goals. In this position you will be responsible for understanding firm policies, procedures and digital capabilities that will allow you to interact with our RVPs as well as new and existing clients. You will also learn how to interact with clients and prospects, understand our process in building successful investment strategies, and have the ability to gain valuable experience in adhering to deadlines and surpassing metrics as you build a successful career at our Zacks. The Wealth Management Associate role is a sales support position, typically providing dedicated operational and sales support to multiple Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs). Successful candidates may also on a regular basis support office initiatives, in addition to the businesses of particular RVP’s. For established clients, you may also serve as a point of contact. All necessary training will be provided

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university required.
  • Goal oriented, competitive, and articulate with strong communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with prospects
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Strong client service & technical skills (MS Word & Excel)
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with others
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and being flexible to changing needs within the organization
  • Series 65 license required after 6 months to maintain employment in Associate program

Nice To Haves

  • Prior outbound sales experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Connecting with and coordinating sales opportunities for our Regional Vice Presidents
  • Assist in the sales process alongside our sales team
  • Coordinate upcoming meetings and details with clients and Regional Vice Presidents
  • Systematically track potential relationships and sales progress of our Regional Vice Presidents
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of our evolving products and services
  • Prepare marketing materials to show the value the firm brings to prospective clients
  • Must be able to deliver a clear and consistent message in communications with your prospects
  • Supporting the executive team, sales, and staff with various tasks
