This position is within the Finance sector, focusing on providing support to Financial Advisors and branch office personnel. The role requires a strong understanding of financial products and services, particularly in investments such as stocks, bonds, ETFs, and mutual funds. The candidate will be responsible for educating and assisting clients on various advisory programs and ensuring a high level of customer service.

  • Heavy phone contact with Financial Advisors and branch office personnel.
  • Proficiently utilize all Advisory support applications as well as navigate other system tools.
  • Provide proactive education and assistance on Advisory programs with respect to product, policies, procedures, and systems navigation.
  • Assist with questions involving new account opening procedures, generation of proposals for active clients or prospects, trading of accounts and training on various program policies and guidelines.
  • Drive process improvement efforts through feedback to Department management.
  • Work collaboratively with team members by managing call volume and service levels while providing outstanding service.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management systems effectively.
  • Participate in AFS cross training programs to broaden depth of knowledge across Advisory programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in either Economics or Finance with coursework involving investments.
  • Professional experience in Financial Services, preferably in areas dealing with investments.
  • Enthusiastic team player, self-motivated, ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and efficient communicator.
  • Ability to build relationships across departments throughout Brokerage.
  • Result-oriented individual who is flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Strong focus on customer service.
