About The Position

May be asked to participate in client meetings with a Wealth Advisor Operational functions and general client service items Basic client communications (updates/next steps of a given task) Client onboarding - full process, start to finish Money movement Participate and be a valuable contributor in various team meetings across departments Data entry, basic analysis, growing expertise in running detailed and more complex scenarios within various financial planning software Note-taking in internal and client meetings/tasking within CRM software/follow-through in all client engagements Meeting preparation – portfolio reviews, agendas, reports, etc. Understand and support the firm’s vision, mission, and strategy Engage in teambuilding and integrate into the culture of the firm Participate in the Wealth Advisor Residency Program Timely completion of all firm and parent company training

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four‐year college or university, in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or other business-related degree
  • No prior professional work experience required
  • Mastery of all client, team and firm responsibilities noted above
  • Pass the CFP® exam within 2 years of hire date
  • Typical time in this position is 1-3 years

  • Ability to work with and engage clients and prospective clients
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry related internship experience is a plus
  • Experience with a CRM Database, Document Management software, eMoney or other Financial Planning software is a plus
