About The Position

True North Advisors is hiring for a Wealth Analyst position. True North is an Independent RIA that serves the wealth management needs of high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. This is a full-time support role that reports to the Chief Investment Officer. While we prefer candidates to be based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, there is flexibility for this role to be fully remote within the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Timely completion of tasks and projects and ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with little oversight
  • Confident self-starter who thrives in entrepreneurial atmosphere and believes in team-approach to client service
  • Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills (strong proficiency)
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality when dealing with client matters
  • Ability to exude the True North Values
  • Must consent to and have favorable credit report and background check

Responsibilities

  • Providing internal operational support for the Wealth Management team in Fort Worth, including fulfilling client service requests, such as account set-up, account maintenance and money movement
  • Handling client paperwork and reports, communicates with clients regarding deliverables, provides status updates of requests and solves client service problems.
  • Maintaining current client data and activity records in the firms CRM, assists client with online access to custodial sites and client portals, communicates with third party advisors to fulfill client requests (e.g. CPAs and attorneys), and completes special projects, as requested
  • Maintain Client Information in Tamarac Rebalancer & Advisor View databases
  • Create and manage performance reporting templates in Advisor View
  • Create/maintain any custom client spreadsheets, updates, reports, and presentations
  • Serve as the primary contact point with custodians (Schwab, Fidelity, Alps, other hedge fund custodians etc.)
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements when applicable
  • Help with creating meeting materials for clients and investment proposals for prospects
  • Performing ad hoc analyses on various current or future investments, companies, accounts, or ideas
  • Internal and client communication regarding investment strategies, performance, and operational issues
  • This position will be located in Fort Worth, Texas
