Role: Wealth Analyst Intern Reports to: Managing Director Level: Internship Location: Chicago, Illinois Overview of the Role: The Wealth Analyst Intern will assist the finance and operations teams with financial reporting, budgeting, data organization, process improvement, and administrative tasks, while gaining exposure to business strategy and project execution. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, allowing the intern to contribute to key projects while gaining insight into the day-to-day operations of the company’s finance and operations departments.

Requirements

  • Graduation year of 2026 or 2027.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and basic data management tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in teams.
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for learning and taking on new challenges.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Support a dedicated wealth management team by assisting with portfolio analysis, including performance measurement, asset allocation reviews, and benchmark comparisons.
  • Contribute to the preparation of client materials, such as reports, presentations, and meeting summaries, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in all deliverables.
  • Conduct research on financial markets, investment products, and economic trends to help inform advisor recommendations and portfolio decisions.
  • Maintain and organize client information within CRM and portfolio management systems, upholding data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Assist in financial planning and forecasting activities, gaining exposure to risk profiling, diversification strategies, and goal-based planning approaches.
  • Partner with operations and compliance teams to enhance process efficiency and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in internal meetings and client discussions to observe how investment strategies are developed, presented, and implemented.
