Purpose: As part of the Wealth Management Team, the Wealth Advisor leads and drives business development growth, client experience and retention. This role is responsible for obtaining new Households through management of a lead pipeline by means of proactive introductions, unsolicited referrals, social and education events, firm generated prospect introductions and advisor networking. The Wealth Advisor leads prospects through the New Client Core Process of qualifying, discovery, proposal, and implementation. The Wealth Advisor ensures adherence to the Wealth Management Core Process by the team to provide a Raving Fan experience to clients above and beyond expectations. This role is responsible for instilling hope and confidence in the eyes of clients and prospects to build long-lasting, trusting relationships resulting in client retention and client driven introductions to others. As a fiduciary, the Wealth Advisor delivers financial advice based on the clients’ best interests. The Wealth Advisor works with the Wealth Management team, consisting of a Wealth Manager, Financial Planner, and Client Care Coordinator to serve clients an excess of $250,000. This team has regular client interaction, conducts outbound proactive calls, and actively participates in Goal Reviews and Portfolio Reviews. The primary metrics of a Wealth Advisor include net organic growth, discovery meetings held, net new households, and wallet share.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or GED, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5 plus years of proven sales experience
  • Financial services experience helpful
  • Series 65 or 66 highly preferred
  • Ability to qualify prospects, identify pain points, and move through the sales funnel.
  • Ability to present material and concepts to groups or individuals in a compelling and effective manner that establishes hope and confidence.
  • Possess a high level of sales acumen.
  • Leadership skills to hold others accountable to deliver consistent, high quality service deliverables

Responsibilities

  • Leads the adherence of the New Client and Wealth Management Core Processes by all team members.
  • Manages a pipeline of leads.
  • Regularly host social events and gatherings with clients who provide prospects to the firm to establish and build relationships and rapport.
  • Lead portions of the Wealth Management Core Process including participation in Set the Compass, First Goal Review, and annual Goal Reviews.
  • Perform proactive calls to clients including annual Portfolio Review calls and quarterly stay in touch (SIT) calls.
  • Manage relationships and build confidence with current and prospective clients
  • Lead client investment management strategy recommendations
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage prospects, client relationships and accounts.
  • Maintain objective goals on a weekly basis, such as number of calls, leads, discovery, proposals, and new households
  • Remain knowledgeable of the policies and regulations of regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all work activities.
  • Work with all other team members in a way that is conducive to the mission, values, and beliefs of the company to provide customer service beyond expectations
