About The Position
As a Wealth Actuarial Extern at Mercer, you will be immersed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that emphasizes action and collaboration. This externship spans 12 days, totaling 84 hours, during which you will engage in a variety of activities designed to enhance your understanding of the Wealth business. You will participate in sample project work, shadow experienced analysts, and engage in group networking and mentorship opportunities. This program serves as a fast track to a full-time analyst position in 2026, providing you with invaluable insights and experiences that can shape your career in the actuarial field. Throughout the externship, you will gain exposure to Mercer's Wealth practice, which is recognized as a leading global provider of investment and retirement services. With over 40 years of experience, Mercer offers tailored guidance to corporate pension funds, 401(k) plans, foundations, endowments, and institutional investors. You will have the opportunity to work on simulated projects that aim to deliver impactful solutions for major organizations, directly benefiting their employees. This hands-on experience will not only deepen your understanding of the Wealth business but also allow you to develop essential skills in data analysis, project management, and presentation design.
