About The Position

WeRIDE Microtransit Operator - Part Time, Non-Benefited. WeRIDE provides public transportation to the residents of Avondale, Goodyear, Surprise and Peoria. Each day our Professional Operators transport individuals who rely on our service to doctors' appointments, work, grocery stores, and much, much more! As a Microtransit Operator, you would provide our clients with the freedom and independence of reliable, safe transportation. If you love helping people and driving - come work for us! Location: 1300 S Litchfield Rd, Goodyear AZ, 85338; WeRIDE Operations Center BLDG 210, Suite 210-H. Transdev is proud to offer: Competitive compensation package of minimum $20.00 - maximum $21.00. This is a part-time position. Please note that no benefits are offered for this role. This role is eligible for a monthly safety bonus.

Requirements

• 21 years or older.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. (Saturday's required).
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Execute flawless operations by meticulously following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Exhibit exceptional care and assistance towards passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation for all.
• Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
• Uphold company policies and procedures rigorously, encompassing seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with regulatory mandates.
• Operate wheelchair lift when necessary and secure passengers in accordance with company requirements.
• Operate 2-way radio and Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) to communicate with Dispatch to report accidents, emergencies, schedule delays, equipment failure and/or unusual circumstances.
• Document pre, post trip inspections and incidents as required.
• Other duties as required.
