About The Position

Do you enjoy working with young children and being part of a supportive, fun team? The Goddard School of Hilliard is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our amazing staff!

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Early Childhood Education degree or coursework is a plus
• Previous experience working with young children preferred
• Experience with potty training or willingness to assist in the process
• A genuine love for working with children and helping them learn and grow
• Strong communication skills and a positive, patient attitude

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in providing a safe and engaging classroom environment for children
• Help implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster learning and growth
• Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and interactive activities
• Assist with potty training and help children during daily routines
• Build positive relationships with children and communicate with families about their child’s progress
• Keep the classroom clean, organized, and ready for fun learning each day
