Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in floor care preferred (commercial or industrial).
- Ability to safely operate commercial floor machines.
- Knowledge of chemical handling, dilution, and safety requirements.
- Ability to lift, move, and transport equipment and furniture as needed.
- Ability to lift, bend, walk, stand, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow a cleaning schedule.
- Reliability and consistent attendance.
- Ability to retain or obtain a background/security clearance commensurate with the position.
- Ability to work independently while consistently adhering to all safety and security policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Strip, wax, buff, and refinish hard‑surface floors.
- Operate floor machines, burnishers, and auto‑scrubbers.
- Perform spot repairs to extend floor life.
- Follow proper chemical handling and safety protocols.
- Other duties as assigned.
