About The Position

Howmet Aerospace's Wichita Falls, TX facility has an opening for Wax NDI Level II. This position requires the ability to work 12-hour rotating night shifts from 7:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. (2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off) and willingness to work overtime. The pay rate begins at $23.33 and tops out at $27.77. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 5 years of Wax NDI experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Work independently under department supervisor to ensure quality of parts from operations meet internal and external customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Wax Level III and Wax Process Owner on NDI-related scrap issues.
• Assist automation team in problem-solving equipment issues to root cause.
• Create or modify programs needed for Wax X-Ray.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and programming issues on all Wax X-Ray Units.
• Write or update all NDI Activity Instructions with the help of the Wax Process Owner.
• Develop techniques for Wax X-Ray Units.
• Ensure IPC is filled out for all jobs as required.
• Perform Process management audits.
• Conduct annual proficiency auditing required by MSAT.
• Communicate with engineering on quality-related issues such as high-quality fallout.
• Work to meet or exceed department and plant metrics for safety, productivity, and quality.
