About The Position

WAVY-TV 10/ WVBT FOX43 is searching for a dynamic PRODUCTION INTERN who is ready to experience the exciting world of TV-news behind the scenes. This intern will be trained to operate robotic cameras; run TelePrompter, floor direct in studio, be responsible for studio setup/cleanup for newscasts and production space; as well as experiencing training to direct a newscast (utilizing Ross Overdrive automation systems). This is an UNPAID / FOR-CREDIT position for the Spring 2026 semester only.

Requirements

• Completed communications and TV Production-related courses
• Understanding of journalistic integrity
• Passion for technology in news production
• Working knowledge of video editing software
• Familiarity with newswriting/production software is a plus
• Must be enrolled in a college degree granting program
• Must show proof of enrollment in an internship course

• Experience with ADOBE Creative Suites
