The primary responsibility of this position is to allocate orders, release work to the warehouse floor, balance workflow, and ensure that inbound and outbound truck turn times are within acceptable levels. The role involves resolving order product shortages, managing order cuts, and communicating with customers. The individual will release work to the work queue in a manner that maximizes interleaving, productivity, and carrier turn times. Additionally, the position requires prioritizing tasks for Lift Truck Operators (LTO) and ensuring the dock office utilizes optimization functionality for receipts and orders. The role also includes running labor reports, reviewing base priorities, and participating in continuous improvement projects and safety programs.
