The Wave Planner, reporting to the Senior Wave Planner/Sr Ops/Operations Manager, is responsible for releasing work to the floor and tracking the progress of waves in order to meet business needs. The schedule for this position is 7:00am- 3:45pm, Monday- Friday. The compensation for this position is $18.50/hr. Your Day-to-Day: Assist in developing, analyzing, modifying and executing the Wave Plan to predetermine ship schedules are met for all customers while maintaining a level workload of activity across all shifts. Prioritize daily schedule and create reports as needed to monitor, track and measure performance at all levels. Assist with the management of pick tickets by printing and issuing to specified departments. Collaborates and work closely with Operations teams to ensure the completion of replenishment to release orders to warehouse floor. Clearly communicating with internal/external partners; identifying key issues and collaborating with operations management team to determine a resolution Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and safety programs. Continually evaluate effectiveness of systems and recommend changes where appropriate Perform other related duties as assigned. What You'll Bring to the Table: High school diploma or GED required.A minimum of one (1)-two (2) years’ experience in related field required; experience in warehouse operations, customer service, and/or inventory control clerk preferred. Minimum of one (1) year Wave Planning experience strongly preferred.Working knowledge of WMS preferred Ability to apply and utilize analytical tools to determine decisions based on customer expectations.Proficient in all Microsoft business applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (Bilingual Spanish/English skills a plus). Basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Experience must demonstrate the ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines. Strong emphasis on organizational skills and attention to detail.
