About The Position

Responsible for maintaining restroom sanitation, cleanliness of pool deck areas by collecting and disposing of garbage, wiping down surfaces, stain removal, vacuuming, and overall general cleaning.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Strong attention to detail
• Proactive and able to initiate tasks and work independently without constant supervision
• Strong customer service and oral communication skills
• Must be safety focused and able to think on feet
• Work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
• High school diploma/GED or related experience
• Experience with sanitation and guest services
• Experience with safe handling and utilization of chemicals according to instructions
• The ability to attend work predictably and regularly and to be punctual.
• The ability to work varying schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business operations dictates
• The ability to read and understand documents, drawings, and instructions (whether presented in written, oral, diagram or schedule form).
• The ability to work cooperatively with others.
• The ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• The ability to perform several tasks at once.
• The ability to follow directions or instruction.
• The ability to maintain Lifeguard certification, must be current.
• The ability to use a computer to communicate, create, and access information.

Responsibilities

• Protect establishment and guests by adhering to cleanliness of the entire Waterpark
• Interact with waterpark guests by greeting, answering questions and responding to requests
• Performs daily routine chores and maintenance of the Waterpark to ensure overall cleanliness and a neat and orderly appearance, including the cleaning of decks, restrooms and locker rooms
• Ensures windows and doorways are free of fingerprints and smudges
• Ensures that furniture and hard surfaces of public areas are clean and organized; keeps floors free of debris and spills and empties all waste receptacles in public spaces
• Cleans and sanitizes Waterpark restrooms and shower areas
• Ensure walkways are free from debris to prevent guest injury
• Performs other duties as assigned
