About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Lifeguard. In this role, you will be standing guard and saving lives as you enforce waterpark rules to maintain a safe and fun environment. You’ll ensure that all guests feel welcome and safe and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always.
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years of age
- Not a certified Lifeguard? Not a problem! Candidates complete a 3-day certification course (Saturday – Monday) held at Kalahari Resorts facility.
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment that is constantly changing based on room occupancy, group, and local business
Responsibilities
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures of water park rides and park cleanliness.
- Communicating with guests about attraction requirements and safety concerns.
- Conducting water rescues and administering first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Staying alert and regularly inspecting pools and slides for any hazards or safety risks.
