Water/WW Project Engineer
About The Position

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Water/WW Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater Team in Blacksburg, VA, where you will help lead the planning, analysis, and design of wastewater collection systems. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
- Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for water/wastewater projects
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
- Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital infrastructure
- Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions
- Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff
