About The Position
Assists in the development, management and administration of the City's Backflow and Cross Connection Program. Monitors and ensures the City's compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; educates the public regarding cross connection control and backflow prevention; performs on-site cross connection surveys and water system hazard inspections at customer locations to protect public health through cross connection control. Reviews irrigation system design plans for compliance with local and state requirements; surveys irrigation systems and submits reports to regulatory agencies. Performs other related duties.
