SUMMARY: To assist Water Works Product Manager in continued development of water works product line in all areas including product development, pricing, literature, web site, competitive analysis, forecasting, order expediting and any other assigned projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer / customer service regarding product information and applications, new product requests, delivery dates, pricing, training, and other misc. information.
• Assist outside sales personnel regarding product information and applications, new product requests, delivery dates, pricing, training, and other misc. information.
• Assist department regarding product information and applications, new product requests, delivery dates, pricing, training, and other misc. information.
• Work with PIC (production, inventory, control) department to prioritize orders for timely delivery when applicable.
• Research answers and examine all relevant information to provide resolution to customer inquiries and/or issues, escalate issues when appropriate.
• Look for alternative products that may also work when the first option is not available.
• Assist in cross-referencing competitive products and pricing.
• Assist in updating special net price sheets.
• Assist in updating product catalog sections.
• Order entry, sample requests and expediting.
• Assist in compiling market information for potential new products such as forecast, pricing, literature, new product launch, and training of new products.
• Assist specification department and outside sales personnel with specification work during approval process.
• Assist lead customer service representative with disposition of returned goods and defective material.
• Work on any other Water Works special projects as assigned.
• Attend and participate in industry trade shows on occasion if necessary.
• Travel with field sales personnel on occasion if necessary.
• Prioritizes a people’s first approach while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Balances technical expertise with a service-oriented attitude.
