Water/Wastewater Transmission/Utilities EIT

About the position

FNI is currently searching for a Water and/or Wastewater Transmission/Utilities Engineer (EIT) in our Central Texas office. The Water/Wastewater Transmission/Utilities Engineer will assist with analysis, design, construction administration, and preparation of technical reports, plans and specifications for various water and wastewater treatment projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analysis, design, construction administration, and preparation of technical reports, plans and specifications for water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Collect, adjust, correlate data, and recognize discrepancies in results.
• Assist the Project Engineer in estimating engineering project costs and maintaining project budgets.
• Assist in the development and execution of assigned projects and conduct analysis with general guidance.
• Provide guidance and assistance to drafting personnel on assigned projects.
• Provide quality work within the scope of work, guidelines, hours, and schedules defined by the Project Manager.
• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating information between groups and provide information for decision making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (concentration in Environmental) or in Environmental Engineering.
• 3+ years experience with water or wastewater related work.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Civil (concentration in Environmental) or Environmental Engineering, preferred.
