Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering required
- Minimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply best practices
- Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
- Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical execution of complex engineering designs, technical reports, and specifications for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure
- Provide expert consultation and resolve highly complex technical issues in various areas of water/wastewater
- Lead advanced technical projects, collaborating with other engineering departments and project management staff to deliver sustainable solutions
- Develop and manage discipline work plans aligned with project milestones, ensuring projects are completed within budget and scheduling restraints
- Guide and mentor junior engineering staff, including providing technical reviews and support
- Deliver technical development of proposals and external presentations to clients, public, and regulatory agencies
