Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • 7 years related experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years project management experience.
  • Ability to interact with various design teams.
  • Excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.

Nice To Haves

  • M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Licensed professional engineer in the State of Ohio or have the ability to obtain license within 1 year.
  • Experience in collaborative delivery methods for water/wastewater treatment facilities and pump station projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera project management software.
  • Revit, MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience.
  • Preference is given to local candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Advance the planning, design and construction administration of water and wastewater facilities projects in Ohio.
  • Direct project staff and lead water/wastewater projects as a project manager.
  • Provide project and task management.
  • Conduct difficult to complex process engineering for both projects and proposals.
  • Collect, assimilate, and present data in reports, memos and public forums.
  • Lead production of design calculations and technical reports.
  • Lead preparation of engineering plans and specifications for design of water and wastewater treatment facilities and/or conveyance/distribution systems.
  • Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline planning, as well as large, complex multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Independently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning/design team throughout entire project lifespan.
  • Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
  • Participate in reviews with various governing agencies.
  • Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff.
  • Coordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule.
  • Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule.
  • Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Business Group Manager for project reviews.
  • Perform technical analyses and report preparation.
  • Lead client project and technical meetings and/or workshops.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring for water/wastewater engineers.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
